Mueller Accu-therm Plate heat exchangers are units manufactured in the USA and assembled under licence in Australia to suit exact client requirements.

The units incorporate an expandable design, enabling an increase of heat transfer surface area without any changes to the unit footprint.

The exchangers are available in multi-stage units to suit a range of heating, cooling, regeneration and pasteurising requirements. 
Double-wall plates are also available to enhance integrity for processing critical quality products and increasing assurance against product/service fluid cross contamination.

The exchangers are backed with a full range of fittings and connections including BSM/RJT, BSP, Triclover, Table Flange ANSI Flange and Camlock.

The Mueller line-up includes a range of stainless steel units which provide the option of hygienic and maintenance-free heat exchangers. 

The advantages over traditional powder-coated frames include, aesthetics, elimination of painting, corrosion resistance and high-quality sanitary finish.

The exchangers are used extensively in many industries including; food, dairy, carbonated beverage, brewing, distillery, winery, chemical and agricultural industries.

The Mueller units can be installed with a flow configuration through the plates to suit a variety of needs, depending on the volume of product processed, the service fluid supply available, and the degree of cooling/heating desired. 

Each plate features a herringbone pressing which is designed to 'roll' the liquids, providing the maximum heat transfer efficiency as the product and service fluid swirl through their separate circuits in opposite directions.

Approved food grade synthetic rubber gasket seals provide a double sealing system which eliminates any possibility of liquids mixing. Gaskets control the flow of the product and service fluid between the plates, eliminating the risk of contamination.
